Because otherwise I'm going to forget exactly what animals he's lugging around camp. D:

Crystal Snake: Either hiding in his (or Obi-Wan's) bed or curled up in his jumpsuit.
Tiny Frogs: Sometimes in a pocket of his jumpsuit, usually in a small pan of water next to his bunk.
Snow Snakes: In a burrow just outside Boys Cabin 7.
Mandrake: Potted, in the greenhouse. Jacen visits it often.
Hot Springs Turtle: Named Sen. Lives in the pan of water with the tiny frogs.

Oh, hey. Never been to this part of Yavin IV before! Never would have thought there'd be a swamp in the middle of a jungle either, but that just goes to show that Jaina didn't map the place out as well as she thought she did. It's kinda funny, too. I don't recognize any of the plants or animals around here, and I thought I'd memorized just about all of them.

But that just means I'll have more interesting things to bring back to the temple! Like these large purple things that look sorta like Wookies, except less hair-y. Like scary, get it? They're too big for a normal cage, but they're really pretty friendly if you feed them old stormtrooper rations. And they make these 'ook ook' noises that I'm pretty sure mean 'thank you.' Or 'die, Jedi scum.' Haven't figured out which. Also found this greenhouse near the edge of this clearing, and I think I see primitive houses farther in. There might just be civilization here.

And then there's the aliens! I...don't really know what these are either. I can't sense minds on them at all, but they walk around okay and they start groaning every time I try a joke. Funny thing, though, is that sometimes the joke gets them to back off. It's just like something Uncle Luke would say: laughter calms the savage beast. Or was that medicine?

Blaster bolts, there's a whole crowd of them now --
